Privacy notice

Last updated: [date]

This notice explains what personal data Rock Radio Media Group collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We collect very little.

Who we are

Rock Radio Media Group ([legal name, company number and registered office]) is the data controller for this website. You can contact us about privacy at hello@rockradiomediagroup.com.

Contact form

When you send us a message we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, the topic and your message. We also record the date and time it was sent.

We use this only to reply to you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (answering an enquiry you chose to send us) and, where it leads to an advertising booking, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Messages are stored securely in this website's database and a copy is emailed to us so we can reply. We keep enquiries for [up to 2 years] after our last contact, unless they become part of a business relationship, in which case we keep them for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or share your data for marketing. It is only handled by the companies that run our services on our behalf: our web hosting provider and our email provider. They may only use it to provide those services to us.

Cookies and listening

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with it so the fonts can be delivered. The station websites you reach from here have their own privacy notices.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict using it. Email us at the address above and we will reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
